Life is full of flavors. To enjoy those flavors, we are blessed with taste buds.

These taste aren’t just for the pleasure of few seconds on the tongue but plays a crucial role in the survival as well. Just like the tongue tastes, the vibe of people we interact with is also full of flavors - salty, sweet, bitter, sour and umami.

For people with sweet tooth whenever you see any cake, chocolates, laddoo, kheer, waffles in front of you, your eyes grow up so big filled with sparkle and joy. Similarly if any sour like a slice of lemon is put in your mouth, you wince like you encountered a electric shock.

People in life closed ones, acquaintances, best buddies, colleagues, neighbors, social media contacts, all are filled with these tastes and flavors. When you start something new or achieve a certain goal or might fail in something, you are bound to hear back from your nearbys.

Just because someone is praising you doesn’t mean they have seen your work and actually amused by it. Certainly not! They might be doing it because they don’t want to hurt you or just being nicer to you.

Some might contradict your efforts and bad mouth doesn’t mean they know better. Who knows they even bothered to look upon.

There would be people from whom you would get no response at all. Might be because they aren’t interested or being jealous or whatever their mindset is.

In a nutshell, you don’t need to get carried away with any of the response you get from whomsoever. The key is to maintain balance and keep on with it. Too much excitement or down heart results only in distraction and wastage. Instead of focusing on people, their thoughts and reactions, put all your energy in your efforts just like when you hog on your favorite food and just doesn’t allow any sharing even the smell of it.

You won’t get to choose the kind you meet but the vibe to take home is completely your decision. Afterall it’s all a part of the parcel of being.
